from     10 AM   to  2 PM

Historical Society Monthly Meeting 2 PM at the Mill

This is a great opportunity to meet the members and check out all of the work being done at the park.

Our mill is one of the only mills in U.S. that can take corn straight from the cob and grind it into grits or meal.

We are also continuing to tackle the restoration of the Weir Cabin, specifically the rebuilding of it’s summer kitchen.

There are so many things to see and do that there will definitely be something for everyone!

A meal will be provided for those who are willing to help out with any basic work or clean up throughout the park.

*There will not be a work day in June.  Instead, come join us for the 11th Annual Civil War Days!

The Dade County Historical Society  says a big  “Thank you” to all of those who help keep the park and the society going through special events, camping and charitable donations.  We are looking forward to another great year with you and your family. Check back often for any changes or updates. We add new days and events as they become available to us.
